William Haywood Heath, Jr.,85, passed away on January 28, 2013 at Laurel Regional Hospital. He was born on August 31, 1927 in North Carolina to the late William Haywood, Sr. and Sally Heath. He moved to Laurel 45 years ago. He received a Master's Degree from North Carolina and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Church of Christ. He enjoyed being active which included playing tennis and walking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Russell Heath; sister Audrey McCullen; and brother Rodney Heath. He is survived by his grandson Matthew Heath and former wife Yvonne Heath.
