Donald E. Campbell

Donald Eugene Campbell, Age 91 of Savage, MD, went home to be with his Lord on October 25th, 2023.

Donald was of the Christian faith, trusting in Jesus as a teenager. He was well known throughout the community as a master builder having the skills of 17 trades, and as the owner of HOW construction.

Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and most of all planting, harvesting and canning fruit and vegetables. In addition he was blessed with a creative mind leading to several inventions. He also assisted his daughter, Don-Ann Wheeler, in publishing Basic Bible Skills.

Donald is survived by three daughters - Don-Ann (Campbell) Wheeler and husband John of Left Hand, WV, Linda Jo (Campbell) Hopkins of Waynesboro, PA and Myra Faye (Campbell) Phelps and husband Jeffrey of Savage, MD; Gary Isaacs, husband of the late Rebecca (Campbell) Isaacs of Laurel, MD; seven grandchildren - John Wheeler, Jr., Matthew Wheeler, Brad Hopkins, William Hopkins, Guy Anderson, Jr, Tara Phelps Saylor, and Jeffrey Phelps; twelve great-grandchildren - J.D. Frank, John Hunter Wheeler, Andrew Wheeler, Kaitlin (Wheeler) Bodin, Clinten Hopkins, Grace Hopkins, Abigail Hopkins, Jack Hopkins, Destany Saylor, Chris Saylor, Shiann Phelps, Peyton Phelps, and beloved Vivian Cronhardt under the guardianship of Chris and Tara Saylor.
