June 19, 1930 - July 5, 2021

Elaine Alma Worman (née Kinnunen) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Johns Hopkins Hospital on the afternoon of July 5, 2021 at the age of 91. Elaine was born to Finnish immigrants Matt and Aliina (Mattson) Kinnunen on a small farm in Hurley, Wisconsin in 1930. Elaine enjoyed baking, dancing, and exploring the outdoors and nature. She was also an avid traveler, visiting many states and countries throughout her life. In her later years, she found happiness in music, crossword puzzles, and being a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren. She is remembered as a kind and spirited woman who always looked to find the joy in everything and everyone.

Elaine is preceded in death by husband Don Worman, son Eric Worman, parents Matt and Aliina (Mattson) Kinnunen, first husband Michael Brown, sisters Gertrude Hewitt and Melba Rigoni, and brothers Leonard, Carl, Donald, Edwin, and Raymond Kinnunen.
