Elizabeth Ann Netherland

Elizabeth Ann Netherland passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the age of 87.

Elizabeth was born in Knoxville, TN on November 27, 1933. She attended Alston High School. She later moved to East Orange, NJ. In 1993 Elizabeth moved to Silver Spring, MD. She was a member of Round Oak Missionary Baptist Church, Silver Spring, MD for over 30 years.

Elizabeth, Ms. Ann as she was known, loved servicing God. She enjoyed telling everyone about His grace and mercy and move out the way when she started her Holy Ghost praise dance. Her sweet spirit and smile would light up a room and she would always greet you with a big hug and, “God bless”. Ms. Ann was full of life and such a joy to be around. She would leave a lasting memory in your heart. She was well known for her spectacular “Church Hats” that would turn heads every time. She was adored by her family and would get on the floor with her great grandkids and play until she wore them out.  She will be greatly missed by so many but what an angel we have following Jesus around on our behalf.

Elizabeth was proceeded in death by her Parents: Raymond and Susie Garner, her Sons: Kerry Garner Sr and Randy Garner, her Grandchildren: Kerry Garner Jr and Cher Garner.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother: Raymond Garner Jr, her children: Kim Whittle and Rodney Taylor, her grandsons: ‌Rashad‌ ‌Whittle,‌ ‌Karis‌ ‌Owens,‌ ‌Derrick‌ ‌Taylor‌ ‌and‌ ‌Adrian‌ ‌Taylor, great grandchildren: Yasmeen, Talauni, Eniyah, Kerry III, Kaden, Kavieon and Josiah.
