Eric Joseph Worman

Eric Joseph Worman, 44, passed peacefully in his Laurel home on Sunday, November 2, with his family by his side, after an 18-month battle with colon cancer. Eric was born in Laurel, MD, graduated from Laurel High School in 1988, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland in 1994. He was the owner of Worman Landscaping, LLC, also located in Laurel, MD; his quality work and focus on customer satisfaction always earned smiles and the respect and appreciation of his clients. He loved being a dad to Erika and Eva, a husband to Draga, and a dog lover to Scumpey. Besides enjoying a cold beer and doing BBQ or steak on the grill, he liked to fish and play music with his friends and his girls. He is survived by his wife Draga; his daughters Erika and Eva; his parents Elaine and Don Worman; his sister Kristina and her husband, Kevin Tuttle; niece Emily; nephew Charlie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation is on Wednesday, November 5, from 5-9 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbot Avenue, Laurel, MD. The funeral service will be Friday, November 7, at 10 am at the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, a Celebration of Life for Eric will be held at the American Legion Post #60 in Laurel, MD, from noon to 4 pm.
