Eugene Wesley Crane

Eugene Wesley Crane, age 79, passed away in Lanham, Maryland.

Eugene, known by his family and friends as Gene, was born on January 22, 1944 in West Virginia to Granville and Maxine Crane. In 1965, Eugene graduated from Roosevelt High School in Washington, DC. He lived in New Carrollton in his later years and worked since January 1966 as a Mail Courier for the Department of Justice Civil Division.

Eugene enjoyed watching western movies in his free time and had a love for music. He collected many records, CDs, and cassette tapes throughout his lifetime. Most of all, Eugene enjoyed the fun times he had with his family. He had the most contagious smile. Gene was truly loved by all those around him.

Eugene is survived by sisters: Darla Lizotte (Hank), Bess King (Harry), and Yvon Pyetzki (Chuck); and many nieces and nephews.

Eugene was preceded in death by parents: Granville and Maxine Crane; and four brothers: Gary Crane (Carol Borchardt), Kenny Crane (Joan), John Crane (Margie), and Mick Walker (Judy).

Eugene "Gene" Crane will be remembered and missed by all of his family and friends.
