Francisco Gonzalez

Francisco “Chico” Gonzalez, a resident of Laurel, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his home. He was 83. Chico was born on March 23, 1935 in Mexico and was the son of the late Leandro Gonzalez and Maria de Jesus Padilla Gonzalez.

He was our superhero, our rock. He was such a caring, loving, amazing person. An excellent husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Always looking out for everyone and making sure they were ok.  

Chico is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Catalina V. Gonzalez of Laurel, MD; two loving daughters, Katia Gonzalez (Alan) of Laurel, MD and Fabiola Gonzalez of Laurel, MD; two cherished grandsons; Jonathan and Dylan Alvarado; five devoted siblings, Maria Gil, Javier Gonzalez, Elisa Ramirez, Carmen Cortes and Guadalupe Arce.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 19, 2018, 1:00 pm at St. Mary of the Mills, 114 St. Mary’s Place, Laurel, MD 20707. Interment will be private.
