Linda Margaret Bussink

Linda Margaret Bussink, 56 of Laurel, Maryland passed away Sunday August 18, 2019.

She was born in 1962 to Donald R. and Beverley Bussink in Richmond, Va.

Linda was employed at Venator Corporation for 26 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, spending time with her niece, nephews and great nephew, gardening, trips to Atlantic City and Florida.

She is survived by a brother Donald R. Bussink Jr. and wife Ginny, two sisters, Cathy Dumhart and husband George, Dolores Moon and husband Ken, a niece Heather Schroen and husband Joe, nephews Steven Moon, Brian Moon, Cord Dumhart, Ryan Bussink and wife Kelly, and a great nephew JJ Schroen.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald R. Bussink Sr. and her mother Beverley O. Bussink and her nephew David Cain Bussink.

Linda’s family would like to thank all of her friends and family members for their love and support during Linda’s illness. A special thanks to Linda’s lifelong friends Mimi, Patty, Jane, Renae, Dana and Lori.

Friends will be received on Thursday August 29 at the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel, 313 Talbott Ave. Laurel, MD 20707 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM.

Memorial donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
