Linda "Lynn" Craft Murray

Linda (Lynn) Craft Murray (74), passed away in Columbia, MD on Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born on December 3, 1946 in Oxford, NY to Calvin and Henrietta (Tiny) Schraga. She was also preceded in death by cousin, Sherry Barrows of Greene, NY. 

Lynn graduated from Woodbury High, Salem, NH in June 1964. After graduating, Lynn's special love was teaching baton for the marching band in which her Dad was the director of, in Greene, NY. She worked at Styvesant Insurance Company in Boston, MA and Link Division of Singer Corporation in Kirkwood, NY and Silver Spring, MD. Lynn later worked in the Health Care Customer Service field before retiring in 2005. 

Lynn was a very creative poet and could make up a poem for any special occasion. She loved rooting on her 'skins', playing fantasy football and daily crossword puzzles. 

Lynn is survived by her husband, Craig Murray, Laurel, MD, her beloved daughters, Kelly Craft, Ithaca, NY and Jennifer Craft (Antonio Meadows), Crofton, MD, her pride and joy, granddaughter, Kellyn Rae Meadows, Crofton, MD, sister, Nancy (Danny) Fairchild, New York/Florida, nephew, Tony (Nicki) Bartolone, Fort Collins, CO and cousin, Ann (George) Riva, Ft Pierce, FL.

Lynn had a vibrant personality and could light up any room with just a few words. She will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing her.  

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00pm at Donaldson Funeral Home, Laurel, MD.
