Mary Catherine Cinotti

Mary Catherine Cinotti "Mrs. C" passed away peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the age of 84. The daughter of the late Joseph T. Hasselberger Sr. and Irene T. (Schley) was born in Baltimore, MD on May 5, 1936.

Mary grew up on Webster Street in South Baltimore under the lights of the Domino Sugar sign; where the in thing to do was to sit on the front stoop listening to the Orioles games on her transistor radio.

Mary met the late John T. Cinotti, the love of her life, on a blind date. She always recalled carrying a hat pin with her, in case he got fresh. The couple was married on October 12, 1957 at Holy Cross Church in Baltimore, MD. They moved to Maryland City, a community on the Anne Arundel county side of Laurel, where they raised their four children together. Most often, their home was known as the kool-aid house because they always had friends stopping by and everyone was welcome. Mary enjoyed doing ceramics with several ladies in the community. She also enjoyed working at the pool where she knew all of the kids that swam there. One of her favorite things to do was eat Maryland steamed crabs and have just one ice cold beer but Mary's all time favorite thing to do was watching her grandchildren.

Mary was proceeded in death by her loving husband: John T. Cinotti Sr., her youngest daughter: Patricia A. Cinotti (Patty), parents: Joseph T. Hasselberger and Irene T. (Schley) Hasselberger, brother: Joseph T. Hasselberger Jr. (Fran), brother-in-law: Edward A. Bubnis Sr., sister-in-law: Mary L. Hasselberger and nephew: Mark T. Hasselberger.

She will be sorely missed and is survived by her brother: Francis Hasselberger, sister: Irene G. Bubnis, children: Mary T. Cinotti, John T. Cinotti Jr. (Luanne) and James Cinotti (Julie), grandchildren: Tyler, Thomas, Taylor, Kirsten, and great grandchild: River, in addition to many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM on Sunday April 25, 2021 at Donaldson Funeral Home 313 Talbott Ave (Route 198W) Laurel, MD 20707. A church service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday April 26, 2021 at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church 7850 Parkside Blvd Hanover, MD 21076. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park 7231 Ritchie Hwy Glen Burnie MD 21061
