Ronald Franklin Marshall

Ronald Franklin Marshall, 83, of Laurel, Maryland, passed away on April 15, 2022 after a long battle with multiple health issues.

Ron was born on May 2, 1938 to Harvey and Martha Marshall in Chariton Iowa. He enlisted into the U.S. Airforce and ended up at Fort Meade, Maryland in 1959. He then transferred to NSA, where he worked for 38 years in various jobs there.

Ron met his future wife, Jacki in junior high school and married her Dec 27th, 1958.

Ron and Jacki had 2 children, Richard and Robert Marshall. Richard married Tammie and they had 4 children, Jennifer, Kriston, Amanda, and Richard Jr.  Robert married Nadine, and they have one daughter, Crista.

Ron and Jacki were blessed with seven great-grand kids:  Joshua, Jacob, Jeremy, Madison, Hunter, Abel, Jonathan and one on the way.

In 2000, Ron retired and spent time reading, watching college football and enjoying his grandkids.

Ron was predeceased in death by his parents, older brother, Raymond and one great-grandchild, Matthew.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Laurel on Friday, April 22, 2022  at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Washington DC Children’s Hospital, an organization they feel strongly about.
