Ronald Lee Whitehead

Ronald Lee Whitehead, 78 year resident of Scaggsville, Maryland, beloved husband of 57 years, passed away on November 18th, 2022 after a 2 year battle with metastatic prostate cancer.  

He was a loving husband, grandfather and loyal father to his three children.  He was an avid hunter as well as a professional carpenter who enjoyed creating gifts for others using his wood-working skills.  He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, loyalty and generosity.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, William Whitehead, mother, Gladys Whitehead and brother, Robert Brent Whitehead. He is survived by by his wife Rosemary, son Ron (Rachel), son Ryan, daughter Rhonda and grandchildren Anna and Sawyer.

The family will receive visitors at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A.  in Laurel, Maryland.  The viewing will be held on Friday November 25th, 2022 from 2 to 4pm and 6 tp 8pm. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 26th 2022 at 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
