Susan M. Phelps

Susan Maye Donaldson Phelps died on December 8, 2021 at home in Savage, Maryland, under hospice care.  Susan was born on April 13, 1936 to LePage Donaldson and Mary Beebe Donaldson.

Susan was one of four children, Jeanne Noe of Laurel, Maryland, Louise Fleming of New York, Charlie Donaldson of Laurel, Maryland.  Louise and Charlie preceded her in death.

Susan was married to Robert Phelps on June 12, 1955.

Susan and Robert had five children.  Charlie Phelps preceded her in death, John Phelps of Savage, Jeff Phelps of Savage, Perry Phelps of Savage and Linda Phelps Duke of Tennessee.

Susan was a medical secretary for Howard County General Hospital and other medical facilities for about 40 years.

Susan is survived by her husband Robert Phelps and was married for 66 years.

Susie and Robert have 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned in the Spring of 2022.
