To The Hall Family......it's funny, about a month ago I started asking some of the old neighbors about Junie and Mildred...I just had a nagging feeling about the two of them. Junie and his brother John were my favorite...They caught me doing all kinds of things I had no business doing, and they pretended they were going to call my father.I'd beg them not to, and would even squeeze out a tear or two....and they never did. Junie when you get to heaven, look up my Dad and Don and give them my love. Also John had x-rated calendars, the boys in the neighborhood made excuses to enter John's "Man Cave" it was a hot topic at the school bus stop!!! PEANUT, STINKY, AND SUG....LOVE TO YOU ALL...JANET

Mrs. Hall, Marlene and other family members: My deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. Mr. Hall was one great guy. When I was working for Laurel Police Dept. years ago as AW/PEO I would always stop by and chat with Mr. and Mrs. Hall as I was patrolling the City streets. We had some good talks about the city and just any thing in general. He will be truly missed.

In the twelve short years that I have known the infamous "Pop-Pop", the one thing that I truly enjoyed most were his stories which were told in admirably sharp detail with noticeable pleasure.
He was a firm foundation for the Hall family tree and true patriarch for all of it's many branches which have brightly flourished.
Each visit that I had with him was always ended with a firm, yet lovingly warm hand shake, with quite honestly the biggest hand that I have ever had the pleasure of shaking, like a baseball mitt of warm generosity and the sincere words of invitation,."Make sure Ya'll come up the house and see us sometime, ya hear".
The only true regret and wish that I have is that I could have met him earlier and known him longer. A truly warm hearted man with a slick sense of humor and a genuine smile. He was and always will eternally be a true sweet soul.
