I miss you Gordon. The memories of your kind and fatherly love toward me will always fill my heart with powerful feelings of love and self worth. As I write this note, my tears are streaming and I can imagine you standing near and reaching out to put an arm around my shoulder. I'm reminded of your smileful ways when I lived with you and Mary Anne and Carolyn and Brian during the summer that I turned 17. Your attentiveness made me feel so loved and so special. I remember watching the Moon landing with you on the 20th of July 1969. You told me I would always remember the day and you were right. I remember you on that day. I wish I had remembered to tell you what you wouldn't have recalled...that Adam and Sara were born exactly 23 years later on July 20th1982, so the day is even more precious. I'm so sad to know that you've left us and I'm so very sad to have not known until now. You are one of the finest people I have ever known. My childhood memories of time with you are very special and your love played a part in shaping me into the woman I am today. Thank you for that. Thank you for your smile. Thank you for your encouraging way. Thank you for caring about me. Knowing that I won't be hugged by you ever again makes the memories of your hugs so very dear. I miss you. Diane

Just a few hours ago I learned that Gordon died. Oh my goodness, to his beautiful children and for all of us who loved him, I offer my heartfelt love, and I share your sadness. It's a snowy evening here in Maine, so I went outside to wander around in the beauty. First thing I heard in the peace was the sound of a distant train, a favorite sound of mine, and I decided it was a message from Gordon, telling me he still loves me too. I am a child again, remembering the safe and dear love of MaryAnne and Gordon. He was silly and strong and special. I adored him. He embodied loving-kindness. And I'm thankful I have another angel to call on by name. I'm happy he and MaryAnne are together again. Love always, Deborah

Dear Gordon, I am so sad tonight to have just learned of your passing. You have been on my mind a lot and I think of you often and with love. You were an uncle, a father, a friend, a cousin, and most of all, the most generous and kind soul and sweet husband to MaryAnn. You spent the most patient afternoon teaching me to dive and we had such wonderful times water skiing and on your pontoon boat. I will remember you always with love, Davita

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my deepest sympathy. During difficult times like these, the Bible gives us comfort and a hope found at Revelation 21:4 which speaks of a time when death, pain and mourning will be no more. I pray that this message brings you much comfort in the days ahead.

We really looked forward to seeing and talking to your Dad over the last several months.

We were so impressed with his incredible bravery and cheerfulness whenever we saw him outside and went over to talk to him.

I hope that you will take great comfort in knowing that you gave him such loving care and dedication in such a beautiful, quiet and serene place - after reading his birthdate, we did the math - Mr Gordon lived exactly one day longer than our Mother next door to you , 1932 - 2015.

Rest in Peace

Mr. Fell, you will be so truly missed. From that face that always had a shining smile, to always being a helping hand, no matter the circumstance, to pictures of hummingbirds, the world has lost a precious soul. God Speed to you and thoughts and prayers to your family.

Dear Gordy was a remarkable good man with a heart of gold. I feel honored to have met him through my sister Fran and brother-in-law Pat (George Davis) at the summer fun we had in Raystown, PA on the boat and at the parties that Fran and Pat hosted with the assistance of Gordy!! I will miss seeing him and giving him hugs. My deepest sympathy is with The Fell family at this very difficult time. May you rest in peace Gordy!!

We'll miss you, our good and closest neighbor/friend. You and I will go to no more class reunions. We'd only need a room for it, you'll be able to meet with more there than here. Can you remember the names of all our dogs (and cats) we outlived? See you when I get there (N or S?).
