To all of my special cousins, Doris, Mike, Pat, Kathy, Annie and Johnny,
I am so sorry to hear of Gracie's passing. I know she will be missed terribly.
Grace and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. And I want to apologize for
not being able to be there today or tomorrow. I thought I would be coming, but it did not work out. So hard to lose our loved ones.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your mom's passing. There's nothing like having a mom. Remember all the great things you did together and the warm feelings she imparted to you. Talk to her every day - even now/especially now. You'll be amazed at how good it makes you feel.
Please please forgive my absence at the funeral etc. If I haven't told you about my son's serious skiing accident, he is coming into town to see the #1 neurosurgeon at Hopkins - I'm committed all week long.
