Meeting Jake in Sunday school, he was one of my first friendships. 8 going on 9 years later, I still tear up at your picture & what happened. You were a wonderful soul Jake, one who brought so much laughter & kindness & fun energy! You were one of my favorite reasons to go to Sunday school, something I looked forward to on the Lords day. I know you are peace in Heaven, RIP. My condolences to the Seaman family.

Dear Tal and Family:
I just heard of Jake's passing through my daughter Karen. We are devastated by the loss of this special young man. We will always remember how nice and kind he was and happy to have all of you as our neighbors. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel and will be watching over you. Gone but never forgotten. May God grant you his peace and know that you will see Jake again.

With our deepest sympathy,
Alice Engelhardt, Karen Swiger and Christine Thompson

Dear Seaman Family,

The name Jake Seaman and the smile that's synonymous with it is part of some of my earliest childhood memories. I don't think words can convey the warm thoughts and deep sympathy I wish to send to you all during this time. Jake could light up any room, and I'm sure that had to do with being part of your family. I hope you can draw some comfort from the words at John 5:28,29 and Isaiah 41:10. I am keeping your entire family in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Megan (McKenna) Watson, and the McKenna's (Kenilworth, Tasker, and Bowie)

I got to know Jake at SBA when I was the dorm counselor for the girls in 2009/2010 school year (I was Miss Harkins then). He was a great kid, full of life and personality. It saddens me very much to hear of his passing. He will leave a big hole in the hearts of all who knew him. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with your whole family during this difficult time, that God will comfort your hearts as only he can.

This is not at all how we would have written the final pages of Jake's biography. But we're not the Author of Life. What a comfort that this isn't 'Good bye'... rather it's 'See ya' later!' Let's cling tightly to this hope tho' our hearts are wounded and bereft and our grip may be watered with tears. That greatest of all family reunions awaits us, and I am so looking forward eagerly for that day. Let's all get together over there, okay?

To All,
I am deeply sorry for your loss of Jake. I didn't know him much as an adult but I remember the kid he was and his family. I know he is with our God Jesus Christ. I wish all of you well and I will light a candle for him again on Sunday

We are so very sorry for your loss of Jake. Words are not adequate to express our condolences, and we pray for God's healing touch over your family. Tal, we'll never forget the day that you brought your family out sailing and Jake's excitement and interest in every detail of sailing.

It is so terrible when we have to say good-bye to our loved ones. The Bible promises there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. What a loving hope that is for us that one day we will see out loved one again.
