Only recently have I learned of Jim's passing.
I had the unexpected pleasure in the last year to run into Jim at a Laurel food store. We had a great chat as always. I shot on his team for seven years. I met you Mary, when you came there and stayed. Your husband treated me with respect and he was a good shooting buddy.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
Much love......Kathleen Leiggi

To Mary and the family. I am stunned and so saddened. I joined the 13th in 1971, and Jim was a wonderful friend from the beginning. We kept in touch as recently as a week before his passing. God bless you all. What a loss. Jim Fieser

To the family and friends of James Fisher,
Please accept my sincere apologies for the death of your loved one. I encourage you to consider the future promises at Isaiah 33:24 which says that one day no one will say that they are sick. Further, death will be swallowed up forever (Isaiah 25:8) May you draw comfort from knowing that God cares about your sadness and has made provisions to eliminate the causes of suffering.

Mary, Laurel and Joe,
My deep condolences to you on Jim's passing. I always enjoyed seeing him at Ft. Shenandoah, when he would share stories about the railroads, the printing industry, his cats, the N-SSA, and many good jokes. He was always faithful attending Mass at the Fort too. The team and camp site won't be the same without him. He will be sorely missed.

Jim was a valued member of our bowling league for years and team (in the past). He always had a smile for everyone and we enjoyed the many times we talked and spend time together at the alley. He will be genuinely missed!
