Dear Karen and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I always enjoyed chatting briefly with her when she worked for Gerald Cranford in MNBB. I always admired her professionalism and kindness. She told me a story of how one of your children was afraid to meet her "boss," (Mr. Cranford) because you would occasionally say, "You've got to hurry and get ready, my boss is going to be really mad if I am late." We chuckled over that. I'm very glad you were able to retire and spend some time with her. Sending my deepest sympathy.

Dear Bobbi - thank you so much for your kind words and sharing your story. Mom truely loved working for Mr. Cranford. And, you are right, I am very thankful for the extra time I got to spend with her.

Karen Olive, I am sorry to hear of your mothers passing but if she was anything like you I am sure she was a wonderful and caring person. I am sure she will be missed.
I did not hear of your retirement from the NRC until it was too late to send you my thoughts and best wishes but please accept them late and with thanks for all the help that you provided me while we worked together. I hope you enjoy your retirement.
