The Hoff family wishes to extend their deepest sympathy to the entire Flowers family over the passing of Ron. Further, I wish to apologize to Russ for failing to inquire about arrangements for Ron when we spoke over the phone. I hope you know that it was an unintended oversight on my part, and had I been thinking straight, I would have been more sensitive to your family's circumstances. But please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Robin, Patrick, and Carol Jean

My deepest sympathy to the Flowers' family for your loss. Ron was a kind and generous man. I had the pleasure of working for Ron as his Office manager for about five years in the 90s. May he rest in peace - he will be missed by many.

We are stunned and saddened by the news of Ron's passing and want to send on our condolences to Brett, Jeff, and the entire Flowers family.
Many, many great memories from over 30 years as neighbors and friends. They all begin with the incredible meals at Ron's table whilst Nana and Grandad put on the full southern feast...usually followed up with one of Nana's great custards, black forest cakes, or key lime pies. All the fun activities over the years...rounds of golf, meeting up at the beach in summer, and most important of all...no one will ever forget the great old RFK days...seeing the Redskins from some of the best seats in the house.
He was a helluva smart guy, had a terrifically understated sense of humor, and was a truly kind and gracious man. And that is the way he will remain for us always.
Love, prayers, and sympathy
Mr. and Mrs. T. Michael Fahey

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I first met Ron at NSA when I was a co-op student around 1969. Over the years I enjoyed working with Ron and our many ski trips. I always respected Ron for his attitude toward life, his intelligence, but most importantly the way he respected every person he came into contact with. My condolences to his family, and may you rest in peace Ron.

I was so very sorry and shocked to hear about Ron. I knew him from NSA, as did many of us, and probably have known him for 35 plus years. He was always a great guy with a warm smile and genuine friendliness towards everyone. Fondest "old" memories....going roller skating when I was in my 20s with a group of people from work (so long ago) and bowling in the "S Fun League". It is hard to believe you are gone, Ron, you were very loved and will be missed by all of us. Rest in peace, my friend.

I'm very saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I've known Ron for several decades through work at NSA. Ron was the consummate professional and always kind and always a gentleman. He was a genuinely good guy; a mentor to many, and a role model to more. It's comforting to know that Ron had a peaceful passing, that's what he deserved. My heart goes out to Mrs. Flowers, the children and grand children, and Russell and his family. May God bless Ron and all of his family and friends; Ron is in my prayers. Sincerely, John

I knew Ron for nearly 20 years; first as a customer during his career at NSA and then as a colleague when he went to industry and we worked together. It was then he also became my part-time coach/mentor and full-time friend. His ready smile and cheerful demeanor could bring calm to a room full of tension and he always brought a reasoned perspective of what to put as first priority and what could wait. He has been called to his reward and it is for us left behind to cherish our memories of him and draw comfort from them. May God hold all who mourn Ron’s passing in the palm of His hand and bring us peace.

I first met Ron in the early 60s, we were both Coops. And I recall when he left for the Army, I was already in and at NSA. And our paths continued to cross, the closest was when I was his Deputy. He was the same person in any of his roles: executive, manager, colleague, friend - likable, funny, winsome, was able to put you at ease. I called him "the Old Man" as his birthday was 8 moths before mine, and he'd laugh & call me "sonny." I usually sent him a birthday email, but didn't in Dec. I'm sorry I didn't. I pray that he is with the Lord, and that the peace of God that passes all understanding will surround his immediate Family and comfort his many Friends & Colleagues. GWB
