I know Mom is with Dad now and that is where she wanted to be ever since he left her. She kept asking me why he left her and I just kept telling her that he didn't want to but he was waiting for her. I will miss the phone conversations every few days but I know she is in a better place. She suffered a lot the last few years and now she is at peace and no more pain. I love you Mom and you will always be in my heart.

Mom wanted nothing more than to reunite with the love of her life. She and Dad lived most of their adult life and raised my sisters and I in Connecticut where we always had family gatherings and lots of love. Every summer growing up we traveled to South Carolina to visit all our southern relatives and it was always the highlight of our summers. As we all grow up and had families of our own, Mom and Dad always traveled to see all the grandchildren they loved so much. I am so glad my children got to spend precious time with them filled with love and laughter. Mom would have spent everyday with her grandchildren/great grandchildren if she could. She wanted nothing more than family around her. She was always a phone call away and I will miss that. I love you Mom and I know you love us all. You are in Dad's arms again and that gives me comfort.
