Detre, I am very sorry to hear about your dear husband. I pray you receive much comfort from family and friends in the days to come. Please remember God provides the best hope and comfort to be reunited with our loved ones again here on earth. Revelation 21:3,4 "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore" (Psalms 34:18).

Stanley Dyson was one of the nicest men I knew. I had the opportunity to spend a great deal of time with Stanley. I got to see the quiet side of Stanley as well as the kind comedic side. Stanley was a wonderful husband to my bestie Detre and I was blessed to be be able to witness their love story. No relationship is perfect, but the love that Detre and Stanley shared was one that some people could only dream to experience. Stanley was a good friend and the best neighbor in the world. We will miss you more then you'll ever know! An angel has left us for his father called for him, but Stanley will always remain in our minds and hearts. Rest In Peace Stanley! Love you always!!!!

Stanley ("Stan the man") you will be missed. I pray that you are finding peace and rest. I guess i will have to find someone else to beg to make seafood gumbo!
