Elizabeth Frances Martin, a lifelong resident of Laurel, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Manor Care of Silver Spring. She was born on April 19, 1922 to the late Charles and Alma Whitehead in Laurel. She attended Laurel High School. She enjoyed flowers, crochet, gardening, going out to eat and shopping. She enjoyed life and loved being with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Joseph Martin. She is survived by her loving children Frances Fatula and her husband Joe of Travelers Rest, S.C.; Joseph Martin, Jr. and his wife Lauretta of Laurel, MD; Mary Phelps and her husband William of Burtonsville, MD; and Jeannette Cipra and her husband George of Ocala, Fl. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11 am at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Laurel.
